Communication Labs
There are two Communication Labs--one at the 1604 campus (MB 0.320) and one at the downtown campus (Durango 1.120). Both labs are Macintosh based, and both labs provide both black-and-white and color laser printers and scanners, as well as read/write CD drives. Software available includes Microsoft Office, BBEdit, Photoshop, and InDesign (at both campuses), and Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash (at the 1604 campus). The downtown campus also has a special projects lab for advanced classes and independent study.
The labs are used primarily for classes, including COM 3413: Writing for New Media, COM 3513: Public Relations Writing, and COM 3623: Commercial Publications. However, during some of the hours when they are not being used by classes, the labs are sometimes open for student use.
