NCA Short Course

TEACHING THE COLLEGE COURSE IN FAMILY COMMUNICATION

This short course will enable teachers to develop a course in family communication or to add pedagogical approaches for teaching an existing course. Participants will develop a clear rationale for the family communication course and will practice and refine several teaching tools for highlighting some of the more innovative topics in the area of family communication; for example, storytelling, technology, religion, and violence. The course takes a hands-on approach to learning and there will be a great deal of interaction during the sessions.
